We would like to say a big thank you to Ms. Caffery from Balbriggan Historical Society who came in to speak to our 6th classes about the local history of Balbriggan.
We can’t wait to get started on our local history projects based on what Ms Caffery taught us.

We would like to thank for inviting some of our students over to watch their Transition Year musical! WOW, we were so impressed, what a performance they put on! Well done to all students and teachers involved in the production.

Mrs Kavanagh's 6th class visited Balbriggans new Nursing Home Moorehall Lodge. The class sang their Irish songs and read out their local history projects to the residents. We chatted about old times and discussed changes in school and our town from when they were young to now. We made a poster to say thank you for inviting us down. We also got lucky bags from the lovely staff of Moorehall Lodge, which went down a treat!

It was really meaningful for everybody involved. It was a great way for Balbriggans older generations to meet with our town's younger generation. Our Community National School (CNS) is really enjoying establishing meaningful connections in our community.

Welcome to our page and our very first post!

Today is the 102nd anniversary of The Sack of Balbriggan. Our 6th Class have been learning about it through local history and our class novel Pawns. We have done newspaper reports and art lessons on it. 6th Class love learning about the history of our great!
