St. Clare's NS 5k / 5 mile challenge

Welcome to our page for our upcoming 5k race / 5 mile challenge. The races will take place in Tubberclare Glasson Athlone on Thur May 28th 2026

Our aim is to involve the whole community in our 5K run. Over the next few weeks the children will improve their fitness levels by following a 5 week 5k training program. The training program will be updated on our page to encourage everyone to join in. A training session will take place each Friday morning at 9.20 on the school pitch. Parents are asked to come along to the training sessions if possible.
