This week, Brendan Dolan, represented TUS Flexible Learning at the ILTA EdTech Conference in DCU, helping deliver a Gasta session on Teaching with XR — Designing & Delivering an Immersive Learning Experience.

The team is part of a cross-institutional collaboration across five higher education institutions- along with TUS colleagues Geraldine McDermot and Clara Keaveny -co-designing an open course that equips educators with the knowledge and tools to bring AR, VR, and Mixed Reality into their teaching practice.

The course is collaborative, learner-centred, and activity-based. Learners who complete it earn a verifiable Open Badge recognising their competency in designing immersive learning experiences.

A brilliant event showcasing the very best of EdTech in Irish higher education — great to have TUS Flexible Learning well represented.
