GRETB Youth Service, in conjunction with Youth Work Ireland Galway, was delighted to welcome the Minister for Education and Youth Hildegarde Naughton for the launch of the Department of Education and Youth's YouthMap Ireland/Mapa Óige na hÉireann.

YouthMap Ireland is a publicly accessible online map of youth clubs, youth services, and support programmes nationwide, designed to help young people and their parents access information on services available in their local communities.

The launch took place at Youth Work Ireland Galway -Tuam's UBU Your Place Your Space Youth Service, which works closely with young people, agencies, and community organisations to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive youth space.

As Tomás Ó Flatharta retires from his role as Deputy Principal of Clarin College this week, we extend our sincere thanks and best wishes to him as he begins this new chapter.

Throughout his years of service, Tomás has been a constant source of warmth, kindness, and support within the school community. He has always placed students at the heart of his work, building positive relationships and creating an environment where young people felt valued, encouraged, and cared for.

As Deputy Principal, Tomás was a steady and reassuring presence for students, staff, and families alike. His commitment to the wellbeing and success of every student, combined with his calm leadership and genuine care for others, has left a lasting impact on Clarin College.

We thank Tomás for his dedication, friendship, and outstanding contribution to the life of the school over many years. He leaves behind a wonderful legacy and will be greatly missed by the entire Clarin College community.

We wish him every happiness, good health, and many enjoyable adventures in his well-earned retirement.
