World Mental Health Day is Saturday, 10th October 2026 but we are celebrating it on the Monday the 12th here at Arklow C.B.S. The official theme for 2026 is Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change”!

In tutorial class Monday morning, which will be longer than usual, we ask each tutor to get every student to write 3 things they are grateful for on a sticky note and to get each student to fill out a ‘Thank you Note’ for a staff member of their choice and encourage them to deliver it or leave it on their desk throughout the day,

During tutorial, there will be a flag raising ceremony for our Amber Flag (weather permitting).

Then the whole school, students and staff, will go on a walk for the first two classes. {weather permitting

When students and teachers come back, there will be complimentary donuts and fruit for everyone. 🍩🍎

All students must be in P.E uniform and wear comfortable black runners.

This day is being organised by our TYA Future Leaders.
