🌈 A reminder that a Rainbows Group will begin at the beginning of November. This is a gentle support for young people who may be dealing with separation or bereavement. Please ask any staff member for an Expression of Interest form or if you'd like to find out more about the group. This support is offered to pupils in first and second class. 🌈

It's that time again for Maths Week Games Day on Friday October 16th! It's one of our favourite days of the school year!

We would love for you to come in and play some simple maths games (Uno, Snakes and Ladders, card games etc.) with your child and their class. Stay for a cuppa and a chat too!

Costumes only get a little wear so why not bring along what are no longer used in your home and give them a new lease of life? You might even pick up something for your child while you’re there!

We will be holding our annual Halloween Costume Swap again this year. Please bring in any unwanted / unused costumes in clean reusable condition.
We will be collecting them at St Michael's Building PE Hall after school drop offs from next Monday.
If you don't have one to donate don't worry can still come and get one.

Cyber Safe Kids is running a 24 hour Digital Detox from 7pm on Friday October 16th to 7pm Saturday October 17th.

This will be an amazing opportunity to get together as family of friends and do something nice, screen free! What will you do for this 24 hours? Comment below!

Some simple suggestions:
- Host a reading party with your friends
- Create an obstacle course in your garden or play area
- Play board games as a family

There is also an art competition run by Cyber Safe Kids - all info is in the attached posters! All entries can be submitted via email. Let's get creative!

The boys in Ms. Byrne's class have been working so hard since returning to school in September. Making new friendships,building trust and getting to know each other is such an important part of school life. Ann, Mary, Rochella and myself are privileged once again to have such wonderful children in our classroom. Looking forward to a year of learning and fun.
