We had a busy week this week in preschool. we celebrated friendship, kindness, and caring for one another. We chatted about how we can show love and kindness through our words and actions. We made cards for our loved ones and the children loved making their own love heart creations. The children enjoyed exploring our valentines themed tuff tray. One of our lovely neighbours in the mens shed dropped in lots of lovely books for us and the children have loved exploring them all week. The children did a great job on friday helping to take care of their classroom, washing tables, chairs doors and windows. We ended the week having great fun playing games and doing obstacle courses. Hope everyone had a lovely valentines day. See you all tomorrow. we will have a short week this week with midterm break on Thursday and Friday. ☺️

This week we learned all about taking care of our teeth 🦷πŸͺ₯
We learned about healthy dental habits and why caring for our teeth is important. We learned we have 20 teeth, we brush our Teeth twice a day in the morning and night for 2 minutes to keep them nice and healthy.
we chatted about foods that help keep teeth healthy and read a book all about visiting the dentist.
The children learned a new song about brushing their teeth and loved to do the actions.
The boys and girls were busy at the art station making their own tooth, gluing white paper. We also did lovely process art, making our tooth nice and shiny by painting it with a tooth brush. All the boys and girls went home with a tooth brush today. Happy brushing πŸͺ₯🦷 see you all on Monday 😊

The boys and girls had lots of fun with imaginative play, building and construction. They experimented building tall towers and we were able to see what was the tallest and shortest. we also learned about hibernation, what it means and the different animals that hibernate, so made sleepy bears from paper plates. The children also painted on tinfoil instead of paper, we listened to the sound it made when we painted it. kinetic sand was also a big hit this week, the children were creative and used their imagination, making lots of different creations.
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend and see you Tuesday. 😊
