Kecerdasan artifisial berkembang lebih cepat dari yang dibayangkan oleh banyak orang. Bahkan Elon Musk dan 1.125 orang yang terdiri dari banyak kalangan, termasuk ahli AI, menandatangani surat terbuka untuk menyuarakan penundaan/penghentian sementara pengembangan AI yang lebih powerful dari ChatGPT-4. Nah, Fakultas Filsafat sejak tahun lalu sudah menaruh perhatian pada isu ini dengan mengangkatnya sebagai Tema Dies ke-55, yakni Kecerdasan Buatan dan Masa Depan Kemanusiaan. Dengan tema yang sama, proyek buku ini adalah sebagai kelanjutan dari itu. Untuk itu, kami mengundang kalian semua yang memiliki perhatian terhadap isu ini untuk turut serta menuangkan gagasan dan pemikiran kalian. Kami tunggu! [Summer Course 2019]

The Office of International Affairs along with Institute for Ethics and Applied Philosophy of Faculty of Philosophy Universitas Gadjah Mada held Summer Course on Contemporary Issues on Ethics and Applied Philosophy.

The program held on 3-10 November 2019, which partaken by both participants and speakers from all over the world.

Summer Course Reschedule

Summer Course on Contemporary Issues on Ethics and Applied Philosophy will be held 3-10 November 2019. Regarding that, we are pleased to announce that you still have time to prepare yourself to join our event.

Registration will be closed by 31 October 2019. This program is exciting and full of benefits for all of you to broaden your networking and provide wider frame of reference regarding applied ethic issues.

The fee is 1,000,000 IDR for students and 1,500,000 IDR for professionals.

Scholarships are still available for 10 participants (only for students) by making essays on topics in the essay guideline link below:

Faculty of Philosophy of Universitas Gadjah Mada will host the 7th International Conference on Nusantara Philosophy. The conference will bring theme "Philosophy and Academia in the Era of Post Truth". The conference aims to explore, discuss and seek framework in understanding multiple forms and different phenomenon of post-truth in Indonesia and global contexts. The conference brings theoretical exploration, observation, studies, and research on issues related to post-truth from various settings within Indonesia context and worldwide.


We invite theorists, scholars, researchers and practicioners working in the fields of, but not limited to: Philosophy, Political Sciences, Sociology, Anthropology, Gender Studies, Religious Studies, Human Geography, Psychology, Public Policy Studies, Media Studies, Citizenship, Criminology, Maritime Studies, Education, International Relations, Sexuality, History, Language and Legal Studies, to present a paper and/or to participate in the conference. We encourage postgraduate students to take part in the conference.
