PT Bambu Nusa Verde was honored to welcome the Minister of National Development Planning / Head of BAPPENAS, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rachmat Pambudy, M.S., to our biotechnology facility in Sleman, Yogyakarta.

This visit reflects a shared commitment to advancing science-based solutions for Indonesia’s sustainable future, with a focus on bamboo and coconut as strategic biological resources.

Bambu Nusa Verde continues to focus its efforts on:
1. Research and development of adaptive, superior plant varieties based on superformula technology, with a focus on biodiversity preservation. Without tissue culture-based conservation, future generations risk inheriting only herbarium specimens rather than living plants. Bambu Nusa Verde contributes to safeguarding bamboo germplasm, including tropical, subtropical, and four-season species.
2. Mass production of high-quality bamboo planting materials for land rehabilitation, reforestation, and sustainable plantations
3. Coconut biotechnology research using advanced tissue culture to support large-scale rejuvenation and productivity improvement

During the visit, the discussion was conducted in a constructive and forward-looking setting, emphasizing knowledge exchange, innovation, and long-term development alignment. This visit marks a positive step in strengthening collaboration between the private sector and Kementerian PPN/Bappenas in supporting Indonesia’s sustainable development agenda.

BRIN Visit for Innovation Labeling in E-Catalog

Bambu Nusa Verde had the opportunity to receive a visit from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) in the context of the Innovation Label inclusion within the Electronic Catalog system.

The visit was attended by Dr. Asep Riswoko, B.Eng., M.Eng., and served as a constructive discussion on aligning innovation standards and strengthening the recognition of technology-based products.

This engagement reflects a shared commitment to advancing innovation, transparency, and the broader adoption of sustainable solutions.
