Ever heard someone say,
“Don’t cut corners”? 👀

This idiom means doing something in the easiest, fastest, or cheapest way... usually by sacrificing quality ⚠️

For example:
🏗️ Using cheap materials to finish a project faster
📚 Studying only half the material before an exam

Fun fact ✨
The phrase comes from the 1800s, when carriage drivers would literally “cut corners” in the road to save time. It was quicker… but also risky 😵‍💫

So remember:
Cutting corners might save time now, but it can create bigger problems later 👀💬

Ever wonder why English has so many words with similar meanings? 🤔✨

It all comes from history ⚔️

English was shaped by both Germanic and Latin/French influences, which is why some words sound short and simple, while others feel more formal or academic.

For example:
🗣️ Germanic words: eat, kingly, freedom
👔 Latin/French words: consume, royal, liberty

Same idea… different vibe 😆
