We still need your help 💜 Our rice donation project for Balinese families due to Covid-19 is now going on for over one year and Bali is still closed for tourists. With the project we support 46 families of the Saraswati Mandala Environmantal School and of Bali Mandala Resort with 10 kilo rice every month. Thank you so much to every one who already supported this project. 🤗

As still no tourists can come to Bali, many people lost their jobs. In July the Covid-19-restrictions in Bali got even tightened up again. So if you are able to help the families in Bondalem, North Bali, we would be very happy for a small donation. 🌸 With the donated money Maggie from Bali Mandala resort will buy more rice for the local families. Wir brauchen immer noch Eure Hilfe! 💜 Unsere Reisspenden-Aktion für 46 Balinesische Familien läuft nun schon über ein Jahr und immer noch ist Bali für Touristen geschlossen. Viele Balinesen haben ihre Jobs verloren und im Juli wurden die Corona-Regeln erneut verschärft. Wir danken allen, die uns bislang bei der Reisaktion unterstützt haben. 🌸😍

➡️Um die Aktion für die balinesischen Familien in Bondalem fortzuführen, freuen wir uns über jede kleine Spende. Mit dem gespendeten Geld kauft Gästebetreuerin Maggie den Reis, der dann an die Familien verteilt wird. Die Reisspenden (10 Kg/Monat/Familie) gehen an die Familien der Kinder, die die Saraswati Mandala Environmental School besuchen sowie an die Familien der Mitarbeitenden des Bali Mandala Resorts. 🌸

💜So grateful! We are very grateful that even though the world is still in this challenging situation, many people think of the people in Bali, especially in Bondalem at Saraswati Mandala Environmental School and at Bali Mandala Resort. Thanks to new donations we were able to go on with our rice donation to 46 families of the school and the resort in December. Thank you so much – we send lots of love and energy from the island of the gods. Take care and enjoy Christmas season despite the limitations. 💫 There will be different times again.🤗

💜So dankbar! Wir sind so dankbar, dass immer noch viele von Euch an die Menschen hier auf Bali, insbesondere an der Saraswati Mandala Environmental School und im Bali Mandala Resort denken. Und das, obwohl die Welt immer noch in dieser herausfordernden Situation steckt und wohl fast jeder mit Sorgen zu kämpfen hat. Dank weiterer Spenden konnten wir auch im Dezember die Reisspendenaktion aufrechterhalten und wieder 46 Familien mit je 10 Kilogramm Reis liefern. Immer noch ist die Situation hier im Norden von Bali sehr schwierig, da es neben dem brachliegenden Tourismus kaum Verdienstmöglichkeiten gibt. 🤩If the kids can’t come to school – the school comes to the kids! Saraswati Mandala Environmental School is still closed due to Corona/COVID-19 Restrictions. But our teacher Komang Adi goes regularly to the kids’ homes to help with the homework. Thank you, Adi and keep up the great work!🙏🏼🎉🥳

Wenn die Kinder nicht zur Schule gehen können, dann kommt die Schule eben zu den Kindern! Leider ist die Saraswati Mandala Environmental School immer noch wegen den Corona/Covid-19 Auflagen geschlossen. Deswegen besucht unser Lehrer Komang Adi regelmäßig die Kinder zuhause und hilft ihnen dort bei den Hausaufgaben. Vielen lieben Dank, Adi, dass Du weiterhin für die Kinder da bist und ihnen auf ihrem Lebensweg hilfst! 🙏🏼🎉🥳

Thank you ❤️ thank you ❤️thank you ❤️ We are so grateful for your support for our 46 balinese families. With your donations we were able to buy rice for them in September and October. The situation in Bali is still difficult as still no tourists are allowed to enter Indonesia and there is not much work and money for living. Everybody was so happy about the rice donation. 😀They send you a big thank you with lots of Bali-Energy. 🙌🏼🌺 As the situation will probably stay the same for a few more months, we are happy about every support. 😃Welcome to Saraswati Mandala Environmental School – a unique school project for kids in Bondalem, in the north of Bali. This charity institution cares about the future of the Balinese children and helps them to create a better tomorrow.

💖Children can come to the school every afternoon from Monday to Friday and improve their English skills and learn how to save the environment. Every Friday we go to the beach, pick up trash and learn more about the impact of plastic. Learning English is important to find a job, as Bali depends on tourism. At the same time trash and plastic is a big problem on the beautiful island, so it is important to show the kids, how they can make a difference and act as role models. The school is an official member of the Trash Hero community (Trash Hero Bondalem).

💖Saraswati Mandala Environmental School was founded in 2009 by Gisela von Keiser and Rainer Grenkowitz, owner of the resort Bali Mandala. It is run only by donations. If you want to help the children of Bali to create a better tomorrow, please support this special project with your donation:

😃Willkomen bei der Saraswati Mandala Environmental School – ein ganz besonderes Schulprojekt für Kinder in Bondalem in Nordbali. Der gemeinnützige Verein hilft den Kindern eine bessere Zukunft zu gestalten.

💖Die Kinder können jeden Montag bis Freitag in die Schule kommen und lernen hier Englisch und die Umwelt zu schützen. Englisch sprechen zu können ist für die Kinder sehr wichtig, um später einen Job zu finde, denn die meisten Jobs gibt es auf Bali im Bereich Tourismus. Gleichzeitig ist Müll und Plastik ein großes Problem auf der wunderschönen Insel. Deswegen ist es wichtig bereits den Kindern zu erklären, wie sie die Natur retten können. Die Schule ist ein offizielles Mitglied von Trash Hero (Trash Hero Bondalem).

We have some good news and some not so good news! First the good one: Thanks to your donations we were able to support again 46 families in Bondalem with 10 Kilogramm of rice each. The families were so happy - this helps them a lot! 🙏🏼😊💜 Now some not so good news: During Corona our homepage decided to say goodbye. 😢 Originally, we had planned to integrated it into the Bali Mandala website this year, but we couldn’t realize this plan with Corona. We had to freeze all spendings and use money just for rice donations, for the salary of our teacher Komang Adi and of course for reopening our school hopefully soon. So we will take our website offline and prepare all information on Facebook and Instagram for you. So if you would like to support our rice donation project, you find the transaction numbers or paypal account here. As soon as the situation improves again, we will integrate all information about the school at the Bali Mandala website.

Nun die weniger gute Nachricht: Leider hat sich in der Corona-Zeit unsere Internetseite verabschiedet. 😢 Eigentlich war geplant, sie dieses Jahr in die Bali Mandala Resort Seite zu integrieren, doch bevor wir das umsetzen konnten, tauchte dieses Virus auf. 😤 Da wir zurzeit alle Ausgaben bis auf die notwendigsten für Reisspenden, für das Gehalt von Lehrer Komang Adi und natürlich für die Wiedereröffnung der Schule eingefroren haben, findet Ihr deswegen die Saraswati Mandala Environmental School zurzeit nur auf Facebook und Instagram. Thank you Trash Hero Bondalem for cleaning our beaches! You are right, these little wrappings really do a big damage to our nature! And if they get burned, the smoke is very toxic! How can we avoid these wrappings - any ideas?

Vielen Dank, Trash Hero Bondalem, dass Ihr wieder unsere Strände hier gereinigt habt. Ihr habt recht, diese kleinen Verpackungen richten wirklich großen Schaden an. Und wenn sie verbrannt werden, wird es richtig giftig. Wie können wir dieses Problem lösen? Habt Ihr Ideen?

💜🌺From the bottom of our heart we say „thank you“ to all of you for supporting families here in Bondalem, North-Bali, with donations for rice. Due to covid 19 and all consequences families in Bali have only very little income right now as no tourists can come to the island of the gods. In the month of july we send a special thank you to Marieke Börger, who did Yoga lessons for making this donation. Additionally, she, her husband and her yoga students gave money, so we were able to buy again 46x10 kilogram rice. Together with the rice we gave letters to our students with some English exercises and fun stuff 😊 We hope, we can reopen our school soon! 👍🏼

🌺💜Aus tiefstem Herzen sagen wir „Dankeschön“ für Eure Unterstützung der Familien hier in Bondalem, Nordbali, mit Spenden für Reis.
