How many muscles does it take to do the "ear wave"? 🤣

Watch her ears flick! Caracals have 20 different muscles they use to independently move these large, tufted ears around. 😍

Part 3 - What Could Get Injuries in Warrior II:

--

Problem:
It's common to lean forward in Warrior II, which can result in the head not "stacking" on top of the spine.

As a result, there is often tension held around the neck and shoulders.

--

Solution:

1) First, look at your back wrist and make sure it's stacked over your back ankle. This will pull your spine back into alignment so that it stacks.

2) Then, lift your chest up and extend the spine tall.

3) Gently open your collar bones (front of your shoulders) by drawing your shoulders back.

4) Now you can lengthen through the crown (top of your head) so your chin tilts down slightly.

--

The Anatomy Behind Why:

When we lean too far forward in Warrior II, our head doesn't stack over our spine.

The brain thinks "My head is falling!!"

The brain reacts by sending signals to the muscles surrounding the neck ans shoulders to activate and try to stop the head from falling.

This extra work is what leads to that unnecessary strain in the neck and shoulder muscles.
