Dalam kegiatan Field Trip Edukasi, murid Maple Tree Montessori School melakukan kunjungan ke BPBD Kab. Tangerang, BSD. Dalam kegiatan edukatif tersebut, murid mendapatkan penjelasan mengenai profesi pemadam kebakaran, tugas dan tanggung jawab petugas damkar, berbagai alat yang digunakan oleh unit pemadam kebakaran, cara pencegahan kebakaran, simulasi keselamatan sejak dini, serta pengenalan nomor telepon darurat yang dapat dihubungi apabila terjadi bencana atau keadaan darurat.

Siswa mempelajari berbagai peralatan pemadam kebakaran, seperti selang pemadam, alat pelindung diri (APD), mobil pemadam, hingga alat pemadam api ringan (APAR). Selain itu, siswa juga diberikan kesempatan untuk mempraktikkan cara memadamkan api kecil menggunakan APAR dengan suasana yang menyenangkan dan interaktif.

Setelah sesi edukasi berlangsung, murid mengikuti kegiatan patroli bersama petugas pemadam kebakaran berkeliling kota untuk melihat secara langsung bagaimana tugas dan kesiapsiagaan petugas damkar dalam melayani masyarakat. Kegiatan ini memberikan pengalaman nyata kepada siswa mengenai pentingnya disiplin, keberanian, kerja sama tim, dan kepedulian terhadap keselamatan lingkungan sekitar.

Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah menanamkan keberanian, kepedulian sosial, rasa tanggung jawab, serta budaya tanggap darurat sejak dini kepada siswa. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga bertujuan untuk:

• Mengenalkan profesi pemadam kebakaran beserta tugas dan perannya di masyarakat.
• Memberikan pemahaman tentang alat-alat pemadam kebakaran dan fungsinya.
• Meningkatkan kesadaran siswa mengenai bahaya kebakaran dan pentingnya pencegahan sejak dini.
• Memberikan pengalaman simulasi dan praktik langsung penanganan kebakaran sederhana.
• Mengedukasi siswa tentang cara penyelamatan diri saat terjadi keadaan darurat.
• Mengenalkan nomor telepon darurat agar siswa mengetahui langkah yang tepat ketika menghadapi situasi bencana atau kebakaran.
• Menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri, keberanian, serta kemampuan bekerja sama dalam situasi darurat.
