Perayaan yang penuh makna ini mengingatkan kita untuk senantiasa menumbuhkan cinta kasih, welas asih, kebijaksanaan, dan kedamaian dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Semoga cahaya ajaran Buddha menginspirasi kita untuk menyebarkan kebaikan dan keharmonisan kepada semua makhluk.

Through A Journey Around the Sun, our young stars explored the wonders of day and night, the changing seasons and the beauty of the world around them. Through music, movement and storytelling, they brought this magical journey to life with confidence, creativity and joy. Their enthusiasm, imagination and growing confidence shone brightly on stage, making this a truly memorable celebration of learning and growth.

This term, our Nursery students became "Green Heroes" by learning how to care for the environment through hands-on gardening and creative recycled art projects. They discovered the joy of growing their own vegetables and learned how everyday materials can be transformed into something new.

To celebrate their learning journey, the children proudly shared their harvest with their parents and enjoyed fun games together, creating wonderful memories with family and friends.

Our Kindergarten 1 students enjoyed a cosy and memorable pajama party "Time to Sleep" as the Exit Point of our IEYC learning block, Weather Wonders!
Dressed in their adorable pajamas, the children had fun making sandwiches, listening to bedtime stories, sharing delicious potluck treats and ending the day with a relaxing sleep time. Through this meaningful experience, they explored the comfort and routines of snowy days while building friendships, independence and joyful memories together. A warm and wonderful celebration to end our learning journey!

Last week, the toddlers went on a fun grocery shopping adventure to explore fruits and vegetables that grow from plants. During the visit, the children observed different kinds of fruits and vegetables, learned their names and colours, and discovered that many healthy foods come from plants.

The toddlers also enjoyed a real-life shopping experience by choosing and purchasing fruits and vegetables using small trolleys and their Flazz cards. Through this meaningful experiential learning, the children developed their curiosity, language, social interaction and independence skills while learning about healthy foods in a fun and engaging way.

JNY Primary Student Prefect Leadership Training 2025/2026
“Leading by empowering one another every step of the way.”

On 18 April 2026, the Primary Student Prefects of Jakarta Nanyang School took part in an inspiring Leadership Training programme designed to strengthen leadership skills, teamwork and unity amongst our young leaders. Through engaging activities and collaborative challenges, the prefects learnt the importance of communication, cooperation and supporting one another in building a strong and united team.

Guided by the JNY School Values of Honour, Empathy, Authenticity, Resilience and Trustworthiness (HEART), the students were encouraged to appreciate one another’s strengths while embracing differences with respect and understanding. The training served as a meaningful reminder that true leadership is about uplifting others, growing together and becoming positive role models within the school community.
