Yom HaZikaron in the Diaspora brings a unique complexity of distance and connection. While the world around us continues its routine, our hearts are in Israel- with the siren, the bereaved families, and the memory of those who gave everything for the country.
iTaLAM CEO, Ari Rudolph, shares a moving personal letter reflecting on his experience as a former lone soldier now living in New York. In the letter, he shares the stories of five fallen soldiers who represent the diversity, mission, and shared pain of the Jewish people- including Lt. Yoav Malayev z"l, the beloved grandson of Miriam Cohen, one of the founders of TaLAM.

We are pleased to invite you to a short, focused open house, where we will present the new updates to the program for the upcoming school year.

During the session, you will become familiar with new tools and materials developed specifically to help teachers:
Teach reading with confidence
Encourage Hebrew conversation both in and out of the classroom
Use the program in a clearer and more user-friendly way
Purpose of the session:
To update you on new developments in the program designed to ease teachers’ work and enhance students’ ability to read and speak Hebrew.

The new iTaLAM reading track - if you haven’t yet heard about “Reading Time,” come learn about it!

A new reading assessment to map students’ reading levels
“From the Sources” (מן המקורות) booklet - to strengthen reading through linguistic features from familiar texts (prayer, Bible, Passover Haggadah)

‏Due to so many requests, we’ve decided to add a new location to our summer meetups: Los Angeles! ☀️

‏Whether you’re a new teacher or you’ve been with us for years, these sessions are a great opportunity to get some practical tools that will actually make a difference in your classroom.
