Raffles Interior Design Students had the pleasure of visiting ‘Platinum Ceramics’ showroom in Surabaya. The fact that Platinum is one of the leading ceramic tile manufacturers in all of South East Asia made the visit even more significant, as well as satisfying. Our hosts were more than welcoming and met all our student inquires with detailed explanations.
After a highly professional and nicely illustrated presentation, which included information on production, features and available applications of `Titanium` - their new lamina granite range- students were then taken for a tour around their newly renovated, two-storey showroom building.
Aside from being very informative, the tour was truly fantastic eye candy for all budding interior design lovers, since their exhibit area and booths were all designed according to the latest trends, as well as to the highest of standards.
We couldn`t thank our kind hosts enough, for this educational and enjoyable field trip experience. Many Thanks from Raffles – Surabaya, to Platinum Ceramics, and all of their professional members of staff. With a hope and a newly formed desire to further build upon our collaboration with them and our Interior Design students in the days and months to come.

Tere Collection is inspired by DNA mutations that occur in the world. She is also inspired by herself who is a mixture between different cultures. Tere wants to show that differences can be a uniqueness in fashion.

Almost all of the Tere Collection is a mixture of parts of animals and humans. Tere uses horsehair, bird feathers, and snake patterns to complement parts of the collection she makes. How interesting!
