Bertepatan dengan Hari Kemerdekaan Indonesia, 17 Agustus 2026, siswa-siswi Sekolah Xin Zhong mengikuti kegiatan Nonton Bareng (Nobar) film Dear You《给阿嬷的情书》di XXI Pakuwon City Mall.
Kegiatan berlangsung dalam suasana penuh antusiasme serta menggunakan 2 ruang studio dengan kapasitas total 422 kursi.
Siswa menikmati film bersama teman-teman sekaligus mengenal cerita tentang kehidupan masyarakat Tionghoa perantauan, hubungan keluarga dan antargenerasi.
Film Dear You juga memperkenalkan pembelajaran mengenai unsur budaya seperti qiaopi (侨批), surat yang dikirim masyarakat Tionghoa perantauan kepada keluarga di tanah asal.
Kegiatan ini menjadi kesempatan bagi siswa untuk menikmati cerita, budaya, dan kebersamaan dalam satu pengalaman yang menyenangkan.
Celebrating Independence Day Through Film, Culture & Togetherness!
On Indonesia’s Independence Day, 17 August 2026, students of Xin Zhong School came together for a special Movie Day (_Nobar_) to watch Dear You 《给阿嬷的情书》 at XXI Pakuwon City Mall.
The excitement filled two cinema studios with a total capacity of 422 seats, as students enjoyed the movie alongside their friends.
Students enjoyed the film together with their friends while learning about the lives of the overseas Chinese community, family relationships, and intergenerational connections.
The film also introduced an important cultural element, qiaopi (侨批), letters sent by overseas Chinese communities to their families in their homeland.
This activity provided students with an opportunity to enjoy a story, explore culture, and strengthen their sense of togetherness through an enjoyable shared experience.
