ASEAN CAMPING GROUND 2015
JOMBANG - ASEAN Camping Ground (ACG) 2015 was a closing ceremony of ASEAN Youth Collaboration Festival (AYCF) 2015 which is held in Kampoeng Djawi, Jombang District, East Java, Indonesia at June 10-12, 2015. ASEAN Camping Ground aimed to unite all participants of AYCF’s subevent. They were participants of YES Summit 2015 and the winners of ASEAN Creative Competition (ACC). The participants who joined this event came from several countries, there were Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Angola, Ethiopia, Canada, Papua New Guinea, and Sierra Lone.
The first day started with farming session. After fun activities, the participants had a lesson about the traditional Indonesia’s instrument called angklung and how to play with that instrument. Every participant got one angklung to practice with two songs such as “Tanah Airku” by Ibu Soed and “See You Again” by Wiz Khalifa. Before ended that night, there was awarding for the winner of ASEAN Creative Competition. The winner of film documentary competition was ITUS Senior High School’s team from Kuningan. The winner of Travel Journal competition was granted to Pandu Waskitha from Jakarta. The favorite winner of Photography Competition was Nugroho Wicaksono and the winner was Rachmat Ridho. For Infographic Competition, the favorite winner was Yoshua Kusuma Putra, and the winner was Muhammad Rahudita Sofiansah.
The second day was started up by trip around Wonosalam and continued with outbound which has been prepared by a team of Kampoeng Djawi. In the afternoon, participants were divided into 6 team and played the game from the committee. At night, the most awaited session, the Cultural Show where every participant divided into group by their country and province then performed their culture. The second day was closed by flew the Hope Lantern. Every participant wrote their wishes and flew it to the sky. And the second night officially closed with the amusing fireworks.
On the third day or last day, every participant prepared to go back to Surabaya. ACG officially closed by speech was delivered by Intifada Fikri as Coordinating Minister of Foreign Affairs of
BEM ITS. And also the last, Mr. Rudi as the owner of Kampoeng Djawi and alumni of Institut Teknologi Surabaya gave a speech and took a photo session.

ASEAN TALK 2015
SURABAYA, Gedung Robotika ITS – ASEAN Youth Collaboration Festival conducted one of subevent called ASEAN Talk (6/6/2015). ASEAN Talk aimed to broaden the knowledge of the participants about the strategies to face AEC 2015 and knowledge about the role as engineering and scientist student in supporting ASEAN connectivity. The participant of ASEAN Talk was came from any universities in Indonesia such as Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Universitas Airlangga, PENS, Universitas Gadjah Mada and others universities. ASEAN Talk also attended by Young Engineers and Scientists (YES) Summit where participants YES Summit itself came from Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, and representatives of International Office ITS.
The event began with a welcome speech by President of BEM ITS, Mr. Imran Ibnu Fajri who also opened this event. ASEAN Talk presented two experts as the speakers in this field, they were HE Dra. R. A. Esti Andayani or Mrs. Esti and Prof. Dr. Makarim Wibisono, MA-IS, MA. H.E or Mr. Makarim. Mrs. Esti was ex Indonesian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Norway and the Republic of Iceland and now she was active as the Director General of Information and Public Diplomacy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Indonesia. On the other side Mr. Makarim was ex Executive Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Department and he was now active as a Professor of International Relations in Universitas Airlangga.
Mrs. Esti have a chance to presented in first session with topic “ASEAN Connectivity Master Plan”. Then second session continued by Prof. Makarim Wibisono with topic “Indonesia Strategy and Role of Each Sector in Supporting ASEAN Connectivity”. All participant was excited and have a chance to ask directly to the expert. As additional information, ASEAN Talk was opened for public and have only 300 limited seats. Participants also get facilities such as free snacks and certificates
