We were delighted to welcome students from SMA Pradita Dirgantara Boyolali to our Surabaya campus. The campus was truly full of energy and excitement, with every corner feeling lively and engaged throughout their visit.

While vlogging their campus tour experience and actively participating in trial classes and engaging with our academic environment, their enthusiasm brought a vibrant atmosphere to the campus.

Visits like these allow students to experience firsthand what studying at an international university in Surabaya feels like, while exploring their future study options in a more interactive and meaningful way.

Western Sydney University Indonesia was proud to participate in TNE Connect, hosted by the Australian Embassy in Jakarta, bringing together higher education leaders from Indonesia and Australia to discuss the future of transnational education partnerships.

Our Pro Vice-Chancellor joined the panel discussion “Towards Sustainable and Impactful TNE Partnerships”, sharing insights on building meaningful collaborations that create value for students, institutions, and communities.

We were also honoured to have the presence of our Chancellor, Prof. Jennifer Westacott, whose ongoing commitment continues to strengthen connections between Australia and Indonesia in higher education.

Getting ready for the professional world takes more than just classroom learning.

Through the WSUI Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) initiative, students joined an industry learning session covering professional identity, workplace communication, collaboration across teams, industry ethics, and early career preparation.

Led by industry professionals from Daya Lima Group and PT Commsult Technology Indonesia, the session also helped students strengthen their CVs and better prepare for future industry learning experiences.

At Western Sydney University Indonesia, students are supported with practical industry exposure and career-focused learning experiences to help them prepare for future opportunities.
