Our Story

The BEC opened its doors to the public in April 2016. Since then we have had month by month and year by year growth and now have in excess of 200 students that come to us for our high quality teaching and long years of experience in the field.

Our students come from many different countries including Indonesia, South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan, England, America, France and even Argentina. We have a very international student set.

Most of our classes give academic support for both international & national schools such as SIS, SES, Sekolah Ciputra, Cita Hati, and many more. The type of courses we offer these students range from learning to read with our highly successful Oxford Phonics courses to reading comprehension and writing support. These classes help students with problematic areas and help improve pronunciation, comprehension, writing ability. Once students get comfortable in our system, you will see consistent improvements in their test scores at school.

In addition, we also offer ESL courses to students from abroad who have newly arrived in Surabaya.
