One of the biggest myths about bilingual children is that learning two languages causes speech delay, but research says otherwise ✨

Mixing languages, preferring one language over another, or switching between languages are all normal parts of the bilingual journey 🌱

In fact, growing up with more than one language can help children develop cognitive flexibility, problem-solving skills, and meaningful connections with different people and cultures 🌏💛

At SUKU Preschool, children naturally experience English and Mandarin through stories, songs, play, routines, and everyday conversations—because language is best learned through meaningful connections and joyful experiences 😊

After learning how our hands can help others, we spent our second week exploring ✨Serving from the Heart✨.

Our campers explored different emotions, learned to recognize and express their feelings in healthy ways, and discovered that understanding how others feel helps us respond with kindness and compassion.

We hope our little campers continue to grow with hearts that love, serve, and care for others as they follow Jesus’ example. 🌱

As Mark 10:45 reminds us: “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve...” 💛
