This heartbreaking incident reminds us of the urgent need to stand together against violence, intolerance, and hatred. This policy, driven by growing concerns over mental health and digital safety, mandates strict age verification protocols and empowers authorities to shut down non-compliant accounts. While the move has sparked debate over privacy and enforcement, it marks a significant shift in global digital governance.

In response, the Center for Australian Studies (CFAS) at Universitas Nasional (UNAS) issued a formal statement supporting the initiative as a progressive step toward safeguarding youth in the digital age.
