UNICEF’s Voice of Youth Blogging Internship 2017

Voices of Youth is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for VOY blogging internships in English, Spanish and French.

This year we are trying something new and inspiring for young people worldwide. That’s why the internships will have a partial focus on climate change and the environment – one of the world’s most pressing issues.

The 3-month internship (February- June 2017) offers you (young people aged 14-25) an opportunity to receive personalized feedback on your blog posts, a series of live interactive sessions with subject matter experts, weekly lessons and tips on blogging, access to a network of international youth bloggers, and the opportunity to have your pieces published on notable digital media platforms. At the end of the internships you will have improved your blogging skills with the help of your peers and the VOY Community Coordinator who supervises your work, gained new insights into environmental and climate issues, and been connected to a network of international young bloggers. The internship is done by remote participation, which means that interns are not required to travel anywhere.

Benefits:

Upon successful completion of the internship, you will receive a certificate of merit by UNICEF – definitely a great addition to your CV!

Apply for the Japan Cultural Camp 2017 in Kyoto, Japan

Location: Kyoto, Japan.

Date: 12 – 17 March 2017.

Wanna know about Japanese Culture? Or experience to have Inter-cultural learning in line with making a friend? or just wanna see and travel to Kyoto and Osaka directly? AYFN is delighted to invite you joining at culture camp in Japan. This is a distinguished program that suits your curiosity to have experimental learning!! Youth and cultural program!

Japan Culture Camp by AYFN is a cultural learning program designed to give an understanding on culture and social awareness for participants. This program enables participants to learn about Japanese culture in line with making a friend directly. This program is also an avenue to enhance knowledge and skill to face globalization. This is not student exchange, but youth and cultural exchange program.

Eligibility:

The participants of Japan Culture Camp should meet the criteria as follow:

Must be 15 – 27 Years old;
Commit to join full program (pre, on , and post program);
Able to adapt new environment easily;
Able to pay the program fee;
Health physically and mentally.
Benefits:

Live for 6 days in Kyoto, Japan;
Learn and understand on Japanese culture directly;
International friendship with Japanese friends and Cultural exchange program with local students
Sinkansen experience;
Heritage walking tour around Kyoto and Osaka;
Experience to be like local people;
Experimental learning;
Certificate of participation from AYFN.
Activities:

Cultural tour activities in Kyoto and Osaka, whereby both cities are well known as the center of Japanese culture.
Cultural exchange activities with Japanese students.
Visit many interesting places both in Kyoto or Osaka, e.g : Osaka castle, Gion District in Kyoto (Geisha), Namba district, Arashiyama, and etc.
Taste authentic Japanese cuisine.
Walk around heritage area of Kyoto.
