Sebelumnya kami selaku panitia pelaksana GPV Camp 1.19 Medan ingin mengucapan selamat kepada para peserta yang telah terpilih menjadi salah satu dari 40 peserta acara GPV Camp 1.19 Medan .
Ada beberapa informasi yang perlu diketahui oleh peserta terpilih, yaitu :
- Bagi para peserta terpilih GPV Camp 1.19 Medan untuk mengkonfirmasi kehadiran dengan format “NAMA LENGKAP_ASAL UNIVERSITAS_HADIR/TIDAK HADIR” dan di SMS ke nomor : 085207616182. Pengkonfirmasian dilakukan dari tanggal 17 – 19 Maret 2014
- Mentransfer uang pendaftaran ke nomor rekening 0182003706 (bank BNI) atas nama, “Fabio Testy Ariance Loren Manurung”,, sebanyak 350.000 IDR dan bukti pendaftaran di pindai (scan) dan dikirim ke email [email protected] dengan subjek “Bukti Pembayaran_Nama Lengkap_Asal Universitas”. Uang pendaftaran di transfer paling lama pada hari Jum’at, 21 Maret 2014.
- Kontrak Tata Tertib (terlampir) diisi dengan menambahkan foto berwarna dengan ukuran 3x4 dan diberikan kepada panitia pada saat pendaftaran ulang
- Membawa hadiah untuk diberikan pada saat social project.
- Membawa cinderamata khas daerah masing-masing untuk ditukarkan kepada peserta lain.

The candidates of GPV Camp 1.19 Medan should meet the criteria as follow:
1. Age of 18-25 years old
2. Having leadership, honest, and responsible
3. Having interest in the pillars of interfaith, strengthening family and service.
4. Able to speak English (at least passively)
5. Participating the event completely
6. Able to adapt new environment easily
7. Fill the application form and submit to email: [email protected] at least 15 March 2014 at 23.59 WIB.

40 participants will be selected from to join GPV Camp 1.19 Medan. They will choose by selection process from Curriculum Vitae and essay about their activities especially on GPV Camp main topic: interfaith, stengthening family, and service.

The Global Peace Volunteer (GPV) Camp with the theme “Young People Making Change” is a program that provides a platform for undergraduate students to exchange ideas and have experiential learning through community service. Besides, it is also an opportunity to raise young leaders of character, values and virtues. Students from various universities are expected to attend GPV Camp which aims to create a caring community within the university compound.
This workshop will provide the students to learn more about the value and principle of “Living for the greater good”. It is the core value of volunteerism and a foundation to gather their abilities and talent for nation building.
GPV Camp 1.19 Medan is a 4 days training camp that will invite 40 prominent young people from Indonesia to conduct discussion and dialogue, sharing best practice, leadership training, study tour, and service project in local community in order to create direct interaction between participants and local community. This program will take place in Medan, North Sumatera, Indonesia.
