Performance Day is a special moment where kindergarten students are given the opportunity to share their learning experience through songs, art performances, drama, and presentations.

The preparation process involves the students fully so that they can express their ideas and talents—children overcoming fear, building self-confidence, and learning to communicate thoughtfully. It is also a time to give thanks for every learning journey at Charis.

Charis School is hosting a parenting seminar in collaboration with Universitas Brawijaya and RSUD Saiful Anwar. With the theme "Parental Preparedness in Handling Children's Emergency Situations", this seminar is aimed at parents of kindergarten and first-grade students.

We hope this seminar equips parents and teachers with essential skills to effectively handle emergency situations.

Pet Show is an application of the material from the EFL lesson for grade 1 students. It aims to help them learn about different types of pets, particularly how to care for their beloved animals.
Students can also explore the diversity of pets and show affection by taking care of their own pets. This activity is also in collaboration with Salah Kumpul Community to introduce reptiles to the children.

Bulan Oktober ditetapkan sebagai bulan Bahasa di sekolah Charis. Charis merayakan literasi dan meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa siswa melalui momen ini. Berbagai acara diselenggarakan; mulai dari Minggu Dongeng, Festival Budaya, Semarak Bulan Bahasa, hingga Musikalisasi Puisi.

Senior High School organized an Education Fair to equip students to become a generation ready to make a positive impact on the nation.
The fair aimed to provide valuable insights into higher education and assist students in crafting a vision to pursue their dreams.
Like arrows, students need to be honed and guided to hit the mark of living according to God's will.
This year was the 14th Education Fair, and it was attended by 43 universities.

Charis just held the 2024 Garage Sale. Supported enthusiastically by all the parents, this event provided a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community. It featured a variety of items donated by families, from clothes and toys to household items, all available at affordable prices. The Garage Sale aimed not only to raise funds for the mission trips but also to foster a spirit of generosity and service among the students. Through their participation, students learned valuable lessons about serving others, sharing resources, and the joy of giving. We hope that this program will continue to be a blessing to the wider community and inspire our students to make a positive impact.

Sepanjang bulan Agustus, segenap keluarga besar Charis merayakan kemerdekaan Indonesia ke-79.
Dimulai dari upacara bersama di tanggal 17 Agustus, hingga rangkaian kegiatan di tiap jenjang. Mulai dari lomba antar kelas, bazaar, dan dimeriahkan dengan karnaval SD.

A glimpse of Charis's new academic year activities. Welcome to the Matrix!

One of the subjects taught in Social Science class grade 5 is Entrepreneurship. In this subject, students learn to manage available resources through business activities to create products that are beneficial for themselves and others.

Starting from brainstorming business ideas, planning the business, determining the capital and all necessary aspects of the business, preparing the product, promoting and marketing the product, recording orders, delivering orders to customers, preparing financial reports and business activity reports, and conducting evaluation-reflection.

This project is integrated with the subjects of Science, Mathematics, and Computer. In the Science subject, each group will brainstorm health products that can be used as their business ideas. In the Mathematics subject, each group will prepare financial reports, which they will then present using spreadsheet programs, integrating with the Computer subject.

Throughout each stage of the process, teachers always accompany and ensure that every student can follow and master each stage. The learning target is for students to learn to be independent, make decisions, persevere, and give their maximum effort in completing each stage of the process, as well as to cooperate and collaborate within a team.

The CTC acts as a collaborative platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, fostering connections among educators from different places in Indonesia, all working together towards the monumental task of cultivating a strong national identity.
