One of the subjects taught in Social Science class grade 5 is Entrepreneurship. In this subject, students learn to manage available resources through business activities to create products that are beneficial for themselves and others.
Starting from brainstorming business ideas, planning the business, determining the capital and all necessary aspects of the business, preparing the product, promoting and marketing the product, recording orders, delivering orders to customers, preparing financial reports and business activity reports, and conducting evaluation-reflection.
This project is integrated with the subjects of Science, Mathematics, and Computer. In the Science subject, each group will brainstorm health products that can be used as their business ideas. In the Mathematics subject, each group will prepare financial reports, which they will then present using spreadsheet programs, integrating with the Computer subject.
Throughout each stage of the process, teachers always accompany and ensure that every student can follow and master each stage. The learning target is for students to learn to be independent, make decisions, persevere, and give their maximum effort in completing each stage of the process, as well as to cooperate and collaborate within a team.
