The International Virtual Conference on Language and Literature held by The Language Centre of State Polytechnic of Malang offers platform for educators, administrators, and researchers to collaborate, contribute, and learn about the current trends in the field of language and literature.

Colm Downes is the Director of English, Education & Society British Council Indonesia. He has previously worked for the British Council in Europe and MENA (Middle East and North Africa).

Martin Lamb is a Senior Lecturer in TESOL in the School of Education at the University of Leeds, where he teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the field of language teaching and learning. His main research interest is in learner and teacher motivation and their interaction with teaching methodology and other sociocultural factors.

Hayo Reinders is a TESOL Professor and Director of Research at Anaheim University in the US and Professor of Applied Linguistics at KMUTT in Thailand. He founded the Institute for Teacher Leadership (www.teacherleadership.ac) to empower teachers and learners with research and leadership skills. Professor Reinders' interests are in technology in education, learner autonomy, and out-of-class learning. His most recent books are on teacher autonomy, teaching methodologies, and second language acquisition.

The International Virtual Conference on Language and Literature event is a two-day
virtual conference curated by State Polytechnic of Malang, Indonesia, which is accessible
on http://uptbhs.polinema.ac.id/ivicollpolinema/. Our goal is to facilitate discussion on
ideas representing prudent courses of action to address changes that have garnered local
and global attention from theoretical and practical lenses. The first IVICOLL conference
last year was attended by 112 speakers and 96 participants from 9 countries. This year,
we would like to assemble more professionals and advocates worldwide to engage in
work and dialogue to uncover the latest trends and challenges in language and literature.
We aspire to be among the facilitators who help the advancement in these fields further
thrive.
