SEAMEO CECCEP proudly celebrated the successful completion of an internship by a student from Hiroshima University, Japan.

Throughout the internship, the student engaged in research, academic discussions, institutional visits, and cross-cultural learning experiences, gaining valuable insights into Indonesia's Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) system while contributing fresh perspectives to our collaborative initiatives.

This internship reflects SEAMEO CECCEP's commitment to fostering international partnerships, promoting knowledge exchange, and nurturing future researchers and educators who are dedicated to advancing quality ECCE across Southeast Asia and beyond.

We sincerely thank our intern for the enthusiasm, dedication, and meaningful contributions during the program. We wish you every success in your future academic and professional journey, and we look forward to continued collaboration in the years ahead.

SEAMEO CECCEP has strengthened regional collaboration through the signing of two Cooperation Agreements (CAs) with SEAMEO INNOTECH and SEAMEO STEM-ED during the SEAMEO Centre Directors Meeting (CDM) 2026 in Chonburi, Thailand.

These partnerships mark an important step in advancing educational research, capacity building, knowledge exchange, and innovation to support quality, inclusive, and sustainable Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) across Southeast Asia.

Through collaboration on educational research and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in ECCE, SEAMEO CECCEP continues to promote evidence-based practices and responsible innovations that place children at the centre of learning and development.
