Character education through the practice of worship at QUBA Islamic School is an approach that aims to shape students' personalities and morals based on Islamic teachings. Here are some important aspects of character education through worship practices carried out at QUBA Islamic School :
1. Praying in congregation

Objective: To instil discipline, togetherness, and submission to Allah SWT. Implementation: The five daily prayers are performed in congregation at school by both students and teachers. This helps students understand the importance of prayer and make it part of their daily routine.

2. Reading the Qur'an
Purpose: To develop a love for the Qur'an and deepen religious understanding.
Implementation: Students are given special time to read the Qur'an every day. This activity is accompanied by the teacher to ensure correct tajweed and makhraj.

3. Sunnah Fasting and Compulsory Fasting
Objective To foster a sense of empathy, patience, and self-control. Implementation: Students are taught and encouraged to practice sunnah fasting such as Monday-Thursday fasting, as well as mandatory fasting in the month of Ramadan. The school also organises fast-breaking activities together.

4. Social Charity
Aim To teach the values of generosity, social care, and sharing.
Implementation: Students are taught to set aside some of their pocket money for charity. In addition, the school also organises charity and social service activities involving students.

5. Tahfidzul Qur'an programme
Objective: Memorising the Qur'an to strengthen memory and closeness to the holy book. Implementation: Students are encouraged to memorise the Qur'an with the guidance of tahfidz teachers. This programme is conducted gradually and continuously.

6. Islamic Ethics and Morals
In addition to worship, these values are taught through religious lessons, daily activities at school, and examples set by teachers.

The conference will feature a range of sessions and workshops designed to inspire and equip delegates with the latest knowledge and skills in education. Key topics to be covered include the integration of technology in the classroom, effective learning strategies, and the importance of developing character and soft skills in students.

Representatives from QUBA Islamic School will be sending two delegates to this conference, namely Dwi Sutanti, M.Pd.I (Headmistress) and Dyane Puriera Anggraeni, M.Pd (Vice Headmistress), whose presence is expected to provide valuable perspectives, particularly in the context of Islamic education and the implementation of the Cambridge Curriculum in Islamic schools.
