KEC CHINESE NEW YEAR AND VALENTINE'S DAY ACTIVITIES RECAP 2026 (PART 2)

Valentine's Day is over and now we're about to celebrate Chinese New Year 2026/2577.
But before that, we're gonna thank you to all of our lovely kiddos who had enthusiastically participated in this year’s Valentine’s and Chinese New Year celebration.

Although we initially faced some technical difficulties due to heavy rain and a brief power outage to the point that we almost canceled and postponed the event to another day, but we're very grateful that Lord Buddha was truly compassionate and blessed us, allowing this event of sharing love and togetherness to finally took place yesterday.

We are also very grateful that almost around 95% of our students were able to attend and celebrate the event this time, which is an even greater turnout compared to last year. 🥹

The preparation for this open house was actually also quite challenging amidst our busy days and tight schedule. We even had to stay up working until dawn. However, we are deeply thankful that all the effort we put into this year’s event was not in vain.

On behalf of all the children, we would also like to express our sincere appreciation to William’s mom for sharing the mini chocolates and mini puddings for the other kids. It truly made them so excited and happy. 😇🙏🏻

In addition, we would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation for all the thoughtful gifts from the parents and our beloved students. We sincerely appreciate the effort and generosity behind every gift, however their presence alone would have been perfectly sufficient and deeply meaningful to us, as having them there to celebrate these both special days together meant more than anything we could receive. 🥹🫶🏻

May this year bring more growth, joy, unity, and countless meaningful moments for all of us. May our place continue to be filled with love, laughter, and success in nurturing our next generations.

To our beloved students,

A year has passed, filled with shared laughter, quiet lessons, and moments I’ll forever treasure.
Each of you brought a light into our days,
and in your own ways, you’ve left fingerprints on our hearts.

We’ve stumbled, we’ve grown, we’ve celebrated every small victory.
You taught us just as much as we taught you,
about patience, about joy, and about the beauty of trying again.

Now, some of you are ready to leave,
to write new chapters beyond the new walls.
It’s never easy to say goodbye,
but we smile knowing that our memories will live on,
in every word we learned, in every moment we shared.

And though some seats may soon be empty,
others will be filled once more.
New faces will arrive, new stories will begin,
