North Jakarta International School

North Jakarta International School NJIS, North Jakarta International School, is an independent, co-educational international school.

North Jakarta International School was established in 1990 to serve the educational needs of expatriate children who are residents of Indonesia. The school enrolls expatriate students whose parents (or at least the father) have a foreign passport and a valid work permit and residence permit.

Our students are inheriting a rapidly changing world in which the discovery, assimilation, understanding, and management of new information will be vital to them. NJIS goal, accordingly, is to reach beyond a content-oriented curriculum and to provide students with the academic skills and intellectual confidence to apply knowledge to new problems and situations.

NJIS, North Jakarta International School, is an independent, co-educational international school. It was founded in 1990 and is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). NJIS is also a member of the East Asia Regional Council of Overseas Schools (EARCOS).
