If I had to choose the one phrase out of all of Shaikh Husain’s “oft-repeated phrases” that I hear the most, it would be this one. Al hamdulillah, his emphasis on sincerity translates into never forcing anyone to do something they don’t want to do which underlines the importance of doing it for the right reason: only for Allah.
