PYP 1 had the awesome opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classrooms this week! As a team and family, they went outside of their comfort zone to feed farm animals before returning to the comforts of the school to sleep comfortably, shoulder-to-shoulder, with their friends. This was a major test of independence for them and we are proud to say how amazing they all did!

MYP (Middle Years Programme) & DP 1 (Diploma Programme) Exam Week is here, and with it comes focus, resilience, and growth.

At our school, exams are more than memorization. By combining the holistic, critical-thinking approach of the MYP with formal exam preparation, our students learn to apply deep conceptual understanding under real exam conditions.

This journey builds the academic stamina, discipline, and confidence they’ll carry into DP2, university, and beyond.

Sometimes the best classroom has no walls.

As part of our Week Without Walls program, our Early Years students spent the day learning at Scientia Park — interacting with animals, planting rice, exploring nature, asking questions, getting messy, and discovering new things through real experiences.

These moments may look like "just having fun," but this is where meaningful learning truly happens. Some lessons can't be taught from a textbook or learned at home — they have to be lived. Children learn best when they can see, touch, try, and explore firsthand.

And that's exactly how IB works.
