Australian English is particularly interesting for its rich store of highly colloquial words and expression. It often involve shortening a word. Sometimes the ending '-ie' or '-o' is then added. e.g truckie( a truck or lorry driver), milko( delivers the milk), biggie( big one), beaut(great), Oz( Australia) and etc.
