From getting to know the JMS community and building team spirit, to learning about environmental sustainability with Dr. Taufiq Supriadi and Eco EduFarm Indonesia, disaster preparedness, academic integrity, digital citizenship, and experiencing learning at a honey farm — every activity invites students to learn by doing.

For our Upper Primary students, Montessori Grammar materials bring language to life. As they sort and explore the cards, they begin to see how each word has a role and how different parts of a sentence work together to create meaning.

What begins as a hands-on activity becomes an opportunity to observe, analyse, and understand language more deeply. Rather than simply memorising grammatical rules, students build their understanding through movement, repetition, and discovery.

In Montessori, grammar is not just something to learn from a textbook. It is something students can explore, experience, and make sense of for themselves🌱
