Good material. Right application. Better results.

Solid surface is designed to create beautiful, seamless surfaces—but every material has its own characteristics.

For resin-based solid surface, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and UV may gradually affect its appearance over time. Factors such as UV exposure, duration, temperature, and installation environment can influence how the material responds.

At Sunray, UV absorber is incorporated into the formulation to provide additional protection. However, it does not make the material completely immune to prolonged direct sunlight.

That’s why understanding where and how the material will be used matters before specification.

For indoor and covered applications, Sunray can be a suitable choice.
For fully exposed outdoor applications, careful consideration is needed.

How is SUNRAY Solid Surface made?

A solid surface sheet doesn’t simply start with a finished surface. It begins with carefully prepared materials that are mixed and then formed into solid surface sheets through a controlled manufacturing process.

Once the sheet is formed, the surface goes through dry sanding and wet sanding to gradually refine and smooth the surface.

The sheet is then polished and inspected to ensure a consistent finish before it is ready for fabrication and installation.
