The University of Queensland (UQ) is a public university located in the state of Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1909, it is the oldest and largest university in Queensland and the fifth oldest in Australia.[1] The main campus is located in the suburb of St Lucia, southwest of the Brisbane City Central Business District, with other major campuses in Gatton, Ipswich and Herston with a number of other satellite facilities. The University of Queensland is a member of the Australia's Group of Eight, and the international research-intensive universities network Universitas 21. UQ is colloquially known as a "sandstone university" and is ranked among the top universities in Australia and is named one of the world's top universities in three key rankings - the QS World University Rankings, the Academic Ranking of World Universities and the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.[2][3]

WAIARIKI Institute of Technology (Māori: Whare Takiura o Waiariki) based in Rotorua, is one of the largest tertiary institutes outside the university centres in New Zealand. Originally developed as a centre for adult and trades education, the institute began to offer bachelor degree courses in the early 1990s.

The main campus (Mokoia Campus) is located in Rotorua ten minutes from the city centre. Regional campuses exist in Taupo, Tokoroa and Whakatane.

The largest courses (by student volume) are nursing, forestry, business, computing, tourism and hospitality. In addition to degrees offered by Waiariki, the institute also collaborates with Lincoln University, University of Canterbury, The University of Waikato, Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design and the Waikato Institute of Technology on a range of qualifications.

If anyone interested to study in NEW ZEALAND, Waiariki will be once of a good option.
