Di Galeri Nasional Indonesia ini tersimpan dan dipamerkan secara permanen karya senirupa yang merupakan ekspresi budaya modern dan kontemporer, seperti lukisan, sketsa, grafis, patung, dan fotografi, seni instalasi, dan lain-lain. Saat ini Galeri Nasional Indonesia memiliki sekitar 1770 koleksi karya seniman Indonesia dan manca Negara, antara lain: Raden Saleh, Hendra Gunawan, Affandi, S. Sudjojono, Basoeki Abdullah, Barli Sasmitawinata, Trubus, Popo Iskandar, H. Widayat, Sudjana Kerton, Dede Eri Supria, Ivan Sagito, Lucia Hartini, Iriantine Karnaya, Heri Dono, FX. Harsono, Nyoman Gunarsa, Made Wianta, Ida Bagus Made, I Ketut Soki, Wassily Kandinsky (Rusia), Hans Hartung (Jerman), Victor Vassarely (Hongaria), Sonia Delauney (Ukraina), Piere Soulages (Perancis), Zao Wou Ki (China). Selain itu terdapat karya-karya seniman dari Sudan, India, Peru, Cuba, Vietnam, Myanmar, dan lain-lain.

Indonesia National Monument or what Indonesian and Jakarta people usually call as Monas is a monument built to remember the struggle of Indonesian heroes fighting the colonial domination.
This monument is in the center of jakarta accesible by taxi. visit it on a weekday, where is not too busy.
5'000 for go in the basment where is a nice explaination of how indonesia was born. and 10'000 for take the elevator to reach the top, nice view on the city. Good place in the center of jakarta to be away from cars and busy traffic.

BUDI UTOMO street is a main road in Central Jakarta. This road is not a long road, but important road to connect Gunung Sahari street and Harmoni. There are some schools on this street.
