KDM Makers is ready to welcome you to MakerLand at JIexpo for the next three days.

Come make a Hebocon "Crappy Robot", brooch, fridge magnet or notebook from scrap and discarded materials. Or just play with our marble run.

Today, KDM Makers (street kids from Yayasan KDM, Jakarta) ran their second Hebocon "Crappy Robot" Workshop for a group of marginalized kids, outside under the trees. They're getting better each time they run a workshop.

They're gaining experience so that they can exhibit and run workshops at MakerLand at The Habibie Festival Oct 17-19 in Jakarta.

Their goals are to:
1. Generate enough interest that they can sell workshops after the festival.
2. Show competence so that they can find sponsorship for more advanced robots using micro:bit or Arduino.

Of course, the core purpose of the project isn't about the robots but about the multitude of skills they need to learn to work as a team to organize and run workshops. They are responsible for doing everything. that needs doing.
