Sampoerna University is the only university in Indonesia which provides both an American accredited university curriculum, and an internationally-recognized associate’s degree equivalent to the first two years of study at most American universities. Sampoerna University and Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan, continue their collaboration through the Building Entrepreneurial Mindset for Sustainable Technology and Society (BESTS) Program 2026.

In its second year, BESTS 2026 focuses on circular economy, providing students with opportunities to explore sustainability challenges and develop innovative solutions through technology, entrepreneurship, and collaborative problem-solving.

Through the program, students are encouraged to turn ideas into meaningful solutions that create value for society and contribute to a more sustainable future.
