Yesterday we had our first Film Screening, dan Screening itu sangat bersukses! Three short films from Aceh were shown:

1) Dalae: a story about how religion can strengthen the community.
2) Inoeng Silat: a girl who goes against the norms by practising Martial Arts.
3) Rainbow in the Ocean Edge: a story about a unique communal feast in Aceh.

In Australia, where there is hardly ever a chance to learn about Aceh specifically, these film screenings are extremely valuable. Check out the 'About' page to find the schedule for the rest of the screenings!
