Typography bagi halayak pembaca Indonesia, belum sepopuler photography misalnya. Typography adalah sebuah dunia "asing", meskipun sesungguhnya, hampir dari kita semua pernah bersentuhan dengannya. Bahkan banyak di antaranya yang sulit membedakan antara typography dan font. ... Memang typography nggak jauh-jauh dari urusan huruf, namun juga tidak bisa dipisahkan dari dunia desain dan aplikasinya secara keseluruhan. Ruangan di sini -- tepatnya -- terbuka lebar untuk memfasilitasi terjadinya interaksi, ruang belajar, saling berbagi pengalaman dsb bagi para "typography lover". Syukur-syukur bisa menularkan pengetahuan kepada yg masih awam hingga kemudian ikut mencintainya :)
Dalam dunia nyata, kami telah merintis sebuah komunitas typography club bagi kalangan anak sekolah dasar (di sebuah sekolah tertentu). Harapannya tidak muluk-muluk: menjadi typography lover, sejak kecil :)

This club is expected to be a space to share and learn together. For most of Indonesian people, typography is still seen as a strange world, though in fact, most of us have all had contact with him. In fact, many of them are difficult to distinguish between typography, fonts and type design. ... typography indeed was not far away from the affairs of the letters, but also can not be separated from the world of design and its application as a whole. Room here - exactly - is wide open to facilitate interaction, learning space, sharing experiences, etc. for the "typography lover". And hopefully can pass on knowledge to those who still lay up and then go love :)
In the real world, we have started a club for the typography community primary school children (in a particular school). The hope is not far-fetched: a typography lover, since childhood :)
