Dear parents and students,

Many of us are probably preparing a short or longer summer leave, so it’s a good moment to share some information with you.

The music school keeps growing and all students have made remarkable progress, as we witnessed during the event on May the 10th.

The year 2013-2014 has probably been the most exiting periods in the foundation’s history. Parallel to the music school program, we welcomed a complete new project team, consisting of professional artists, writers and musicians who are doing wonderful work with youth prisoners. An additional program for young ex-prisoners is the next step and plans are made for a midterm program on national scale!

This month our very first music academy students, Kupit, Angga and Cok from the trio Nosstress are doing their first Europe tour. Nosstress has been booked for 10 concerts in one month, from which three larger festivals in Hamburg, Berlin and Hannover. We are very proud of them and we wish them good luck with their international music career.

I want to thank you all for your great support during and after the fundraiser event on May the 10th and special thanks should go to Susanne and Ruedi Nuetzi for offering their beautiful location, for the good organization and their trust in our program. The result was more than 25 million rupiah, raised by about 200 people in one evening!

The music school will be closed from June 22 until July 06. From July the 7th we open the doors for Summer School students. If you are interested, please send an email to [email protected].
