🌧️ What does rain sound like?
We asked our children to close their eyes, listen to the rain, and then paint what they heard. No instructions on what it should look like, just sound translated straight onto a medium of their choice.
What came next was pure magic. Long, flowing strokes for steady drizzle. Soft dabbed dots for gentle patter. Each child translated sound into colour and movement in their own unique way, no two interpretations alike. 🪄 ✨
This is sensory art at its finest: connecting listening, feeling, and creating. It’s not about painting a “rain cloud”, it’s about capturing a feeling, a rhythm, an experience.
