Learning takes many forms and some of the most meaningful lessons happen beyond the classroom.
Our Grade 5 and 6 students travelled through Bogor and Jakarta for five days filled with discovery, exploration and shared experiences.
From making traditional jamu, grafting plants and harvesting lemons to ploughing fields and learning about rice farming, students connected classroom knowledge with real-life experiences. They also explored Indonesian creativity through hand-fan painting and tie-dye.
A visit to a local school gave them the opportunity to connect and learn alongside their peers, while Museum Bank Indonesia brought history and financial literacy to life.
Along the way, outbound challenges, zip-lining, catching fish, a bonfire and marshmallow BBQ, and a visit to Dairyland Farm Theme Park Puncak helped build confidence, independence and teamwork while creating wonderful memories together.
At ACS Bali, we believe education is not only about gaining knowledge. It is about encouraging children to stay curious, embrace new experiences and develop the confidence and perspective to engage meaningfully with the world around them.
Because learning becomes even more powerful when it is experienced.
