Classical pianist from Conservatorio Superior "Joaquín Rodrigo" (Valencia, Spain) in 2002, Ángela continued studying with L. de Larrocha, JM Colom and Luis F. Pérez, expanding her admiration for the Spanish piano repertoire. Having always been fascinated by the use of the voice, she took vocal and drama lessons, and very soon she was also interested in other performing arts, such as flamenco an
d contemporary dance, studying in María Carbonell, Centre Profesional de Danza (Valencia) and Amor de Dios (Madrid). During those years, she performed all around Spain and Argentina, as a soloist, and as part of various formations, like the 4 Hands & 4 Feet Piano duet with D. Ghymers, or companies such as "Eureka Teatro", "Lluvia horizontal" or "Tercero Izquierda Teatro". In 2010 she moved to Indonesia to study traditional Indonesian performing arts and since then, besides participating in numerous multicultural artistic and educative projects, she has been spreading the Spanish piano repertoire and The Art of Flamenco around South East Asia, along with the Indonesian guitarist A. Fazmail, and often collaborating with Cervantes Institute. Since researching Indonesian music and dance, she carries out a cultural exchange mission collaborating with KBRI Madrid and the Ministry of Culture of Indonesia, being the pioneer of the Balinese dance and theatre in Spain. She has developed a long trajectory in teaching through a holistic and self-devised methodology which draws on her knowledge of music, dance and drama. Living between Indonesia and Spain, and while she undertakes Master´s Degree in Music Research studies, Ángela keeps exploring the possibilities of sound and the intersections between cultures and disciplines with endless curiosity, admiration and sense of humor.
