HLC team is proudly joining in the celebration of CRLC's 10th anniversary on August 4th 2024!

As the first refugee-led school in Indonesia, CRLC has been a source of hope, providing education and support to the refugee community despite many challenges.

We are at the end of another successful year.

The COVID-19 couldn’t stop us to go through another productive journey.

Due to the Corona virus out break on 9th of March 2020 we closed the school and immediately started online classes, the teachers worked hard to get them selves and the students adopted with the online learning and successfully reached their lesson plans.

It is a great pleasure for the HLC team.

Now it is our final exam of the year and the students are called to come to school each on another day, alongside with following the social distancing and using masks, pass their exams.

Drawing competition was a friendly competition among 32 participants from the Cisarua centers, RLC, CRLC, HLC and JRS, which was arranged by JRS center in two age categories.

8 students participated in above 15 years old category and our talented student Sultan Mahmood Yari got the first place with the 229.5 out of 250 score.

24 students participated in below 15 years old category and our talented model student Somayah Ali Omidwar got the third place with 226 out of 250 score.
Ehsan Esfandiari our Hardworking student got the lucky draw prize.

Our management and teachers at Hope Learning Center would like to congratulate to our students for their wonderful achievements and thank to JRS Center for hosting this competition.

☆CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETING☆

is a type of interpreting in which interpreter waits for the speaker to make a pause in their speech, interpret what has been said and then listen to the speaker and wait for them to make a pause again to interpret.

It's been discussed about considering 22 tips of this subject/job in our previous vertual class and a part of the recorded video is uploaded here for those education seekers who like to know more about.

Never lose hope on your dreams!

Time travels and things will change, although with pain and sorrows, but as long as you have hope, you are able to tolerate challenges.

COVID-19 has put the world into serious problems and all people around the world are experiencing various crisis

the refugee community is more affected as they have been in quarantine for years, but we believe that they are persistent and such kind of troubles can not shatter their patience

We believe that refugee learning centers are playing a very significant role on reducing such kind of stresses from the community

To follow the health protocols, since March 2020, our classes have been switched to online and the students were missing the school a lot
Therefore yesterday 28th of October we called our students to receive their stationaries alongside with some hygiene packages, although the students were not allowed to inter into their classes, but they could meet their classmates and teachers for a short time and been so happy.

Moreover we thank Mr Rufi Susanto( president idsMED group), Mr. Danny Pradhana( division director- HR at idsMED ) and their team for their kind visit to our center.

Muqtader Jihad is a high school student at / . He is originally from Iraq, living in Indonesia since 2016 as a refugee. He got talents in Karate, Futsal, Beatboxing and drawing likewise he is one of the best position holders at School subjects. His friends call him due to his exclusive character. His goal is to become Lawyer and Karate champion in the future. As a teenager he is always hoping to get in a safe country where he can call home and achieve his goals.
Muqtader Jihad has done a research about Chernobyl explosion which was one of the most huge explosions in the world.

This worthy relationship hark back to years ago almost since the start of our journey with Hope and we have the honour of being always in a close contact with the Singapore Embassy in Jakarta specially with H.E. Mr. Anil Kumar Nayar and Mrs. Peck See Nayar.

☆☆☆Friendship Gathering☆☆☆

Was the title for the friendly competition among the cisarua refugee learning centers ( RLC, RLN, HLC, CRLC, PES and JRS ) which was held online, in different bases such as reading, picture description and Generalknowledge.
Today 27th of August 2020, HLC had the honor of hosting all the learning Center’s representatives and the students from all the learning centers who took positions in the competitions.

Hereby our team at HLC would like to thank to all the learning centers who have participated in today’s gathering and a special thanks to the JRS and One World team for providing the prizes.
