SBP × English 1 Mini Spelling Bee 2026
What an exciting celebration of words, confidence, and determination! ✨

On 13 September 2026, Sekolah Bina Persada successfully held the Mini Spelling Bee 2026 at the Setraduta Campus, in collaboration with English 1 Bandung Setiabudi. Our young spellers took on increasingly challenging words that tested not only their spelling and vocabulary, but also their listening skills, pronunciation, concentration, confidence, and ability to perform under pressure.

The competition became even more thrilling during the semifinal and final rounds, with several tie-breakers needed as our talented contestants delivered equally impressive performances. Every correctly spelled word brought cheers and applause from the audience! 🐝👏

After an exciting series of rounds, we proudly congratulate our winners:

During the Homeroom Period, members of the Young Speakers’ Club (YSC) from both SBP campuses take the stage to engage their fellow students through:

📚 Storytelling – bringing stories and characters to life
🎙 Newscasting – sharing news with clarity and confidence
🎭 Poetry Recitation – expressing ideas and emotions through the power of words
🙋 Interactive Q&A – encouraging students to listen carefully, think critically, and confidently share their answers

And there’s an extra reason to participate! 🎁 Students who actively join the Q&A and give correct answers have the chance to receive special prizes.

Through DEAL, our YSC members strengthen their public speaking, fluency, expression, leadership, and audience engagement, while the audience develops active listening, comprehension, critical thinking, and confidence.

🌍🏆 Sekolah Bina Persada Shines at the World Scholar’s Cup Jakarta Regional Round 2026! 🏆🌍

Sekolah Bina Persada proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of our scholars at the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) Jakarta Regional Round 2026, held at Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School & Ciputra Artpreneur. Competing against talented students from across the region, our scholars demonstrated excellence in debating, collaborative writing, Scholar’s Challenge, Scholar’s Bowl, and interdisciplinary academic challenges, bringing home an impressive collection of medals, trophies, and Global Round qualifications.

From our Skittles, Junior, and Senior divisions, SBP students showcased not only their academic abilities but also their confidence, teamwork, creativity, and global awareness. Several teams earned prestigious team trophies, Top Overall Scholar awards, Top Debater, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Bowl, and Challenge Subject medals, with many scholars securing their places in the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round.

These achievements are the result of months of dedicated preparation led by the SBP English Department. Our scholars participated in intensive coaching sessions that strengthened their debating techniques, essay and collaborative writing skills, critical thinking, current affairs knowledge, interdisciplinary learning, teamwork, and public speaking. Through regular mock competitions, Scholar’s Challenge drills, Scholar’s Bowl practices, and personalized mentoring, students were encouraged to think beyond textbooks, communicate confidently, and embrace intellectual curiosity.

Congratulations to all our scholars—from Skittles, Junior, and Senior Divisions—for representing Sekolah Bina Persada with excellence, integrity, and determination. Every medal earned and every challenge conquered reflects your passion for learning and your readiness to become globally minded leaders.
