Most fashion schools teach you how to create. At Burgo, we teach you how to perform in the real industry.
From day one, students are exposed to the realities of fashion beyond the classroom — working with real garments, real fittings, real feedback, and professional expectations that shape both skill and confidence.
Because becoming a designer is not only about mastering techniques. It’s about learning how to think, adapt, communicate, and deliver under real-world conditions.
This is where creativity meets discipline. This is where passion becomes professionalism.
Your journey starts with a single decision: to begin.

Most designers are taught how to create. Few are taught how fashion survives in the real market.
Through Burgo Fashionpreneur 2026 × Pillar Plaza Indonesia, students learned directly from the buyer’s perspective—understanding how collections are evaluated, positioned, merchandised, and transformed into real commercial value.
Led by Lenny Tedja, CEO of Pillar Plaza Indonesia and former Director of Jakarta Fashion Week, this masterclass challenged students to think beyond aesthetics and start thinking strategically.
At Istituto di Moda Burgo Indonesia, students are trained not only to design beautifully, but to build brands that can survive, grow, and perform in today’s fashion industry.

Before fashion became fast, Italian designers mastered construction first.
Developed by Istituto di Moda Burgo in Milan, Il Modellismo was created to preserve Italian sartorial craftsmanship—combining bespoke tailoring with modern pattern systems.
Today, it remains a global reference in fashion education, shaping designers through precision, fit, and true garment construction.
At Istituto di Moda Burgo Indonesia, students learn through the same Italian Pattern System rooted directly from Milan since 1961.
Because great fashion is not only imagined.
It is built.
