Prayatnaśaithilyānantasamāpattibhyām
prayatna = effort
śaithilya = relaxation
ananta = infinite
samāpattibhyām = meditation
🦚 Perfection in an asana is attained by the relaxation of effort and the total absorption of awareness on the infinite.
🦚 In order to reach this state in asana, we have to understand how to soften our desire, relax extra effort, and accept what we cannot change.
➡️ Try to cultivate this softening and non–efforting by finding the space within the engagement of the shape, and accepting your body and the pose as it is.
➡️ Work towards letting go of trying to make something happen, and instead allowing what is to unfold naturally.
🦚 When effort becomes effortless, asana is at its highest level.
🦚 It takes time, patience and compassion to learn how to let go of the need to push yourself.
🦚 As we learn to let go of our expectations and desires, we naturally cultivate more effortless effort.

❓Why arm balancing?
🤔 Of course arm balances look very impressive, but it’s not about growing your instagram followers. Arm balancing postures challenge body and mind on different levels.
✅ First of all you need and will develop full body strength. You will learn to control your physical body, to make it stronger and more flexible, which will make your mind calmer and more flexible.
✅ Balancing your body weight onto your hands requires courage. Continuous practice helps you to build confidence and to connect with the wisdom of your body.
✅ To move into and to stay in an arm balance asana for longer depends on focus and concentration. If your mind is distracted and your attention is not with your body it is unlikely to be successful. As with every Yoga practice – Presence is key!
💯 Come and develop the strength, flexibility and focus to practice and teach arm balancing asanas in our 300 h YTT in Bali or Greece or join our 50 h arm balancing course in Bali 🎉

Tasya heturavidyā
tasya = its
hetuḥ = cause
avidyā = ignorance
In this Sutra Patanjali answers the question ❓Why Purusha and Prakrti united
They have entered into this union out of ignorance.
✨ Purusha has forgotten its true nature and only through the union with Prakrti it can find realization again. Only through this connection the differences become visible.
