Freediving is just one part of the adventure.

On our Raja Ampat & Misool liveaboards, we don’t spend every moment freediving. We bring our stand up paddle boards too, because some of the most magical experiences happen above the surface.
Glide through crystal-clear lagoons, explore hidden caves, discover ancient rock art, and enjoy the peaceful side of Raja Ampat. We love mixing up the pace, creating space to slow down, reconnect with nature, and take in the incredible beauty that surrounds us.

One of the things we love most about travelling by liveaboard is the freedom it gives us. Instead of being based in one place, we wake up somewhere new, with endless opportunities to explore both above and below the surface.

Swimming with humpback whales in Tonga… imagine coming face to face with these gentle giants.

How many years of knowledge do they carry? What have they seen? What do they think when they look at us, tiny humans floating in their vast blue world?

Our guide shared that mother whales often feel more at ease allowing their calves to be curious when we stay calmly on the surface, rather than diving into their space. It makes sense, respectful encounters begin with understanding their world, not entering it.

Sometimes the most magical moments happen when we simply float, observe, and let the whales choose the interaction. 💙

Wow what an amazing freediving trip we had in March last month, 7 nights sailing through Raja Ampat national park central and down to Misool, off the beaten track into turquoise and tranquil lagoons!
We had all the weather and some wild open ocean freediving memories, with a great group of freedivers from all over, brought together with the love of freediving and getting stuck into nature.
Thank you, we hope to dive with you again soon : )
